Hi,

The mac mini in our office wont startup.
I can boot from cd's, however, I cant find the original osx disc that came with the mac mini. I tried using a startup disc from and macbook pro and a mac pro, but it wont accept those..

Any ideas??

Nothing happens... the computer turns on for a minute then turns off..

What's the nature of the symptom when it starts up? Blank gray screen? Gray screen with Apple, does it even get to check the disk with the little gear? Replacement discs can be purchased but assuming the unit is < 1 year old, why not just bring it to a service provider?
