I have run my entire 2000 song music collection through macmp3gain, mostly i have m4a's and few mp3's. i set the decibels to 85 but after it was completed i tried to update my ipod to the lower volume music but the update only took about 5 seconds. it clearly didn't transfer any of the new settings onto my ipod. i listened to the songs anyways just to be sure and they sounded the exact same.

is there still somthing i need to do in the process or did i completly screw

please help I'm desperatly trying to lower the volume on my songs

If you know of any other programs that will accomplish the same task as mp3 gain pelase share them
