I was just wanting to see if anyone else had any issues but I have upgraded my 2017 15" MacBook Pro to 10.13 and noticed the HDD Sizes are really off.
It says I have 109.2GB Used, 1.1TB Available and 999.59GB Capacity.
This shows I have 100GB more than the HDD. It was even worse earlier as it stated I had used 600GB of storage.

I am going to do a complete install but just wanted to document my issue.

Thanks
Jamie

That is odd. My usage on the 250gb SSD went down by half when I installed the update. I had only about 10gb free previously and post-update have 109gb free. It seems a little unreasonable to have gained that much from the new file system, but I'm hopeful it's correct...

I have gained 12.22gb on my mid 2014 MacBook Pro retina 13inch, which has 2.8ghz i5, 8gb ram. Before install, I had 29.85 remaining of the 500gb. After install I currently have 42.07. So far, it feels a lot snappier with apps like Photos, safari, even chrome opening noticeably quicker. Interacting with photos is much faster too.

So far so good.

Also on a 256 gig SSD, I seem to have lost about 25 gigs of space. It seems to be slower as well, though not unusable.
