I just installed this update on my 13-in MBP. All went well until an option to convert Outlook to the new design in preparation for Big Sur. It changed everything and then said that it doesn't support IMAP and a few other account types, like my ISP. It then gave me an option to switch back to the old design so I could access my accounts.

What the heck. How can any reputable company release junk like this, and how can Apple ship it with a system update? I hate Outlook anyway, but now even more and want to change to something else. And not standard Mac Mail, either.

Your complaint has nothing to do with 10.15.7 or Apple– Apple didn’t create Outlook. Microsoft‘s “New Outlook” is missing a lot of features; it was released widely with version 16.42 of Outlook, which was released on Tuesday.
