Since updating my 16" 2021 MBP Max to macOS 12.1 the Magic Keyboard w/ Touch ID that I have hooked up becomes unresponsive after the machine sleeps. The only sleep setting I have enabled is to turn the display off. The Magic Trackpad still works. The only thing that seems to become unresponsive is the actual Touch ID part of the Magic Keyboard that is hooked up. To unlock the machine I have to use the Touch ID on the MBP itself.

2021 MBP 16" here. TouchID does not work after sleep if the machine is plugged in. However, if you unplug it and try, it works. Electrical issue, a few other posts on here about it. Can't believe Apple hasn't addressed the issue yet.
