macOS 26.1 beta 1 install stuck at 100%

Hi everyone,

Did anyone else experience the install of the update stuck at 100%?

It was like 25+ minutes like so:

Same issue here my Mac is now stuck on the login screen. Impossible to reinstall macOS in recovery…

Update: logging into the Guest account and changing the login password of my main session fixed it

Quick note: I waited for about an hour and then decided to reboot it. It turns out it updated properly but it just forgot to change to login screen.
