macOS Catalina freezing

terminating with unexpected exception of type thekogans::util::Exception: [0x16:22 - Invalid argument]
abort() called

My 16" MacBook Pro running the latest version of Catalina has crashed five times between 1-05-2020 and 1-08-2020 with this as the reason for it. I was running Firefox, Spotify, and FFXIV Online at the times of the crash. Any idea WTF is causing this?
