Hi all,

So to start this off i'm stuck in this pickle because I decided to factory reset my Macbook Air but then i accidentally deleted my Main HDD!! So every time I boot my Mac regularly I come across the grey folder and question mark screen..

but wait this isn't the problem!

I did a bit of research. Created a bootable USB with OS Sierra, boot into Internet recovery and I can see my main HDD again! Now, when attempting to reinstall OS onto Main HDD it always gives me the error message half way through the installment..

"macOS could not be installed on your computer" "Volume contains a macOS or OS X installation which may be damaged. Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again"

I know it's not my copy of OS it's completely fine nor is my HDD messed up!

In desperate need of help!! Please comment below any alternative solutions!

Did I just completely F*%K up my mac????

BTW It's a MacBook Air 2010 11in.

Anything is appreciated.

Problem Finally Resolved..
Turns out I was doing everything right all the way up to the point before I started reinstalling OS.
I guess I was supposed to erase my Main HDD one last time and doing just that I was finally able to install OS High Sierra.

Thanks
