Where I am
You’ve been using macOS for a while and have access to a Microsoft 365 email account.

Curious, do you use the macOS Mail client or the Outlook client on macOS?

Mail of course. I can't abide Outlook. Mail handles my Outlook email (professional account), my iCloud email (personal), and my gmail (never used).

I use Outlook for my work email and calendaring, which is 365, and then use Mail for my personal email. I like to keep them completely separate.

Recently I have noticed on Apple mail, I get a message with some HTML and nothing shows up. I can't find a setting that changes that. I could use MS Outlook, but would rather stick with Apple mail. I have gone through the various preferences and I can't seem to find the problem. It just started about a month ago.

Do you happen to have Private Relay turned on in your System Settings/iCloud panel? Because that will have that affect on some emails in the way you describe.

I use Mail for my Office 365 account. I can understand why someone would want to use different apps for business and personal although I think I'd just use webmail for business on a personal computer.

You know, I use to detest webmail. This coming week, I’ll try to use it for one day, just to see how it goes…

I use Outlook for my work email which is on Office365 because Outlook integrates with Teams and the rest of the office suite + has add-ins for SalesForce etc.

For my private mail I use iCloud web interface or the standard mail client on iPhone.
