Macos 'Optimized Battery Charging' charges to 100% after sleep?

I have the option checked and every now and then the charging will stop @80%....but if I put the computer to sleep, it will charge to 100%.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Isn't is supposed to stay at 80% while plugged in?

I haven't had that happen or heard of it happening. It only goes to 100% if it's unplugged and plugged back in or the power is cut some other way.

I assume you mean the battery charge sometimes drops to 80% and stays there. It doesn't stop at 80% while charging unless you're using software like Al Dente to control it.
