  • Alarms may not play when your display is asleep for a long period of time (FB10086690)
    • Workaround: Make your display not fall asleep in Settings > Lock Screen > Turn display off on ____ when inactive. You can turn your brightness off.
    • Issue present since macOS 13.0
Additional Notes
  • Please know, Memory Management has always been an issue on any OS (not just Apple's). If you believe there is a Memory Leak, please go to the Apple Menu > Restart > Restart to fix it.
  • When a new macOS release comes out, all issues automatically go to "Untested Issues" until they are moved by someone. Issues that stay in Untested for 3 releases (beta or smooth) will be removed from all future threads. When there is a new macOS release, please be sure to let us know about the issue's status by moving it to either "Remaining Issues" or "Resolved Issues"

Just finished the update from RC. I used the full installer. Everything went quick and smooth on my M4 Pro Mini. No strange boot screens this time.

Happy to see that Apple Intelligence and Siri stayed turned off after update. Too soon do draw any conclusions other than update went smoothly and well.

WiFi and Bluetooth also stayed off. Often WiFi got turned on after an update.

App Store still listing 15.4. How can we make a bootable USB disk using the .PKG file? The guides are always based on the installation (.app) file.

I am no longer able to set a passcode for Screen Time on macOS 15.5, as the button is grey. Anyone having the same issue?

The inability to reliably send email when spell-checking before sending, introduced with Sequoia, remains in 15.5 Mail.

I wonder if its ok to allow the iMac M3 to sleep now and will not suddenly eject SSD drives...

After turning on "App & Website Activity" on top in the menu I am able to set a Passcode. Before doing that the slider was greyed out. And the slider to turn off "App & Website Activity" is now there, it's not at the bottom. It recommends to create another account that is not Admin. I never use this and will turned it of again, so I just tested it with my standard Admin account.
