Issues that stay in Untested for 3 releases (beta or smooth) will be removed from all future threads. When there is a new macOS release, please be sure to let us know about the issue's status by moving it to either "Remaining Issues" or "Resolved Issues"

My Internet got incredibly slow directly after the update. Safari is unusable. Firefox is working a little better.

I already restarted the router and Mac again but that didn't change anything.

This time only M4 Pro Mini. I removed the iMac from this place again.

Just scrolled up and the avatar picture from the first post needed three steps to appear.

It's not only some Pages and Numbers extensions that show up when they shouldn't, now also one of the Screenshot files on my Desktop. Maybe it was there before and I didn't saw it because I normally have "show extensions" turned on for everything.

I wouldn't haven noticed it at all if I did not saw someone in the 15.4.1 thread writing about the Pages and Numbers extensions. So it already had been there at least since that version.

My Safari extensions all seem to keep resetting after a reboot. Everything has to be configured again as if it was being turned on again for the first time. This has happened on two Macs for me.

I didn't install the RC, but this has happened to me when I installed the .3 and .4 updates for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS. Why? Because when the OS is done updating, it then starts downloading the Apple Intelligence updates, which can be quite large. Apple must have huge pipes, so to speak, so it sucks up all my bandwidth. It's really noticeable when I update all my devices at the same time.

I'm guessing this is what happened to you too. Next time when this happens, you can check to see if Apple Intelligence is downloading by going to the 'Apple Intelligence & Siri' screen in Settings.

Hopefully Apple improves this in the future. It would be nice if we can update both in one swoop. Perhaps we need OTA and IPSW updates without Apple Intelligence (for those that don't have it turned on), and OTA and IPSW updates with Apple Intelligence (for those that do have it turned on).

That's strange, because not a single update since the first beta of 15.0 slowed something down directly after the update.

I have Apple Intelligence and Siri turned off. It shouldn't download anything at all. Very annoying if it does anyway.

There is stuff from Apple Intelligence downloaded somewhere to my drive, but I had turned it on a while ago only a few times to shortly test if it works.

After the next update I go directly to some network monitor, to see if there is something happening.

For the first time after installing the RC, Apple Intelligence is stuck on reloading 100% for a while now

No ChatGPT and Playground till finished I assume

This happened almost every time when I tried it since it first appeared with changing the region settings. I just ignored it. Sometimes it was gone later, sometimes it just stayed. It either showed 0% or 100% but there was no difference.

Somehow Mail Notifications are activated fully now with banner and previews and on Lock Screen. It was set to only badge icon since I am using this Mac and never changed.

Edits I'm making to photos in the Photos App like cropping and adjusting photo size are not staying in place. As soon as I back out of the photo to see all of my photos again, any changes I make are reverted.

I'm also still unable to select a Photos App folder to randomly cycle through as Desktop Wallpaper.

When I click on done after editing a photo it stays like I edited it.

Not sure what you mean with the second paragraph. I never created any folder by myself. I have only the standard one and those don't seem to have any problem.

Yes, selecting a Finder folder to randomly cycle thru desktop wallpaper works fine, but selecting a folder in the Photos app doesn’t. I've submitted 2 bugs for this going back a couple years now., FB12202204 & FB13282770.

In the Desktop Wallpaper settings, I am able to select a Folder from the Photos app (not an individual photo) and when I click on the option to cycle randomly, the Desktop Wallpaper changes to the default Sequoia Wallpaper instead.

Now I understand. I never used this option. I just tried it, quit System Settings and it got back to "Sequoia Sunrise" what was my wallpaper before. So I can confirm that bug.

Edit: No it didn't switch back in the settings, I was in the wrong category (Screensavers). But my Wallpaper stayed the same, although it's set to shuffle through my Favorites in the Photos app.
