No one knows what it is. Could also be just a security fix for RC2. It's not announced anywhere and Apple has now Release Notes for any 15.7 RC. I was very tired, and just updated. I only read something about security fixes, can't remember if that was the standard update text.
In the developer download portal they only list 15.6 and in the AppStore when I search for macOS Sequoia Beta it shows 15.6 Beta 3 since a long time it normally should show the latest Beta/RC. Tahoe Betas aren't even in there.
Seems to be RC3. Don't know if the website is just guessing, the update was only 4GB to download. RC2 was bigger than the full installer. I think over 16GB. There isn't even a name for any of the 15.7 versions, when it's shown as update. It always just says 15.7.
Release note documentation does not seem to have x.7 releases of any previous major release in it.
Sonoma notes end on 14.6 and older versions at x.5 - while last public release versions are 11.7.10, 12.7.6 and 13.7.7.
While it looks obscure, it is not exactly new thing...

The last update for 15.7 was the security update that was released today for the other versions no one really knows how all 15.7 versions are called. They were all just an update to 15.7 in the developer seed. And Sonoma 14.8 isn't even mentioned anywhere.
