I have a MacMini 2018 with a Dell 38" monitor as my main computer, but when mobile for work I use a MacBook Air early 2015. Both presently run Mojave 10.14.6

For convenience I keep my work email account and some files on the MBA and when at my home office I share the screen and the files through the WiFi router. This normally works very well and is the ideal solution for me. I can access the full MBA Boot Disc from my Mac mini.

But sometimes, about once a week, when clicking on the MBA Boot Drive in Locations in Finder instead of seeing the files I see a Share Point Folder icon, as per the attached image. The MBA presently has a Sabrent NVMe, but this same problem was happening before I did that upgrade and was still using the original SSD.

The only way to get back seeing the folders and files is to restart, sometimes more than once, either or both computers.

I have tried Google but have not come up with any help.

Anyone have any idea what is happening?
