Hello Community,

I would like to clone my wife’s PC.
She has a mechanical HD and I bought a SSD.

Are you aware of a macOS software solution to clone her Windows HD to the SSD while keeping license and sessions data identical?

Thanks

However, as others have stated, you’re probably better off just cloning from the Windows machine itself.

The few times I’ve done a Windows clone, I used Macrium Reflect (with success).

You’re right, I’m going with rescuezilla.

One other question is there something I should do before migrating the data because the windows machine is very slow for anything, boot few minutes…. Then launching an app can takes up to few minutes as well.

Any tips :)

I haven’t had a need to try/use it (yet) because my Windows machine is auxiliary, that is, I can reinstall Windows, if necessary, without needing to preserve data.
