macos sonoma, copy and paste function not working in spotlight search results

Hi, I am experiencing the issue for being unable to use copy and paste function in spotlight search results. For example in ventura, I open spotlight and search for a specific file name, it shows the result, I highlight the result with keyboard, use command+c to copy it and I can paste it anywhere I want be it a text file, whatsapp etc with command+v. This I cannot do in sonoma as command+c doesn't copy that result. However, if I open finder and do the search for the same file, I can copy and paste it from there to anywhere I want. Using spotlight search and its copy/paste function is very critical for me. I had to roll back to ventura just for this reason. Can somebody shed some light to this issue what could be the problem, thanks
