macos tahoe slow at syncing photos

i am syncing photos from a folder on my mac to my iphone and it is taking a long time compared to the previous version mac os sequoia? anyone else experience this?
 
and it decided to speed way up and finished approx the same amount of time it would on mac os sequoia so disregard this thread.
