Hello, I'm wondering whether to update my Mac air m2 (running 15.7) to macOS 26.0 (or maybe wait 26.1?)
I have two questions one is about safari in 15.7 and another about Tahoe.

currently my safari (version 26.0.1) is bothering me after updating to sequoia 15.7, it goes very slow, switching between tabs takes like 1sec!, and I don't like it, do you have this issue too?

And if You have updated to 26, what's your opinion, how's the stability, performance and battery?

I don't think that's normal. You may need to empty caches, or check your DNS settings.

Safari 26.0.1 on 15.7 is weirdly slow for me too. I just restarted Safari and that's fixed it, but I guess it'll slow down again soon.

I updated Safari to 26.0.1 whilst staying on 15.7 and pages are distinctly much slower to load vs the Safari iteration before. I reset the cache, restarted multiple time, upgraded to 15.7.1 and none of this has made a difference.
