Hi guys!

I have a MBP (2018 touchbar) with broken display, which I'm happily working on through ext. monitor. Currently I'm running Big Sur, but as Ventura is already a year old and got quite stable by now, I'm thinking of updating.

The question is: will I be able to perform the entire update solely on ext. monitor? Because if on any step during the update process will require using the int. display, I'll be effed. It almost gave me a heart attack today as I accidentally ran a BS security update and at some point the ext. monitor went black and I could only see that something is being displayed on the int. display. Luckily after disconnecting & reconnecting the monitor it worked, but I need to be 1000% sure I'll be able to perform the update using the ext. monitor.

Appreciate any feedback, cheers!
