Hey folks, thanks for having me (I guess I lost my old login due to things you all should be aware of!: Backup!)
Anyway,
We figured: updating OS on MacPro >2019 with internally installed HDDS/SSDs on the primary ATA-ports will kill conten (Single /Soft Raids), the drive in whole / memebers: "intialize".
As of now: re-sourcing generic old ystems won't bring them back. However, you can re-initialize them drives and group them for a soft RAID.
Be aware: before upgrading systems: backup those drives an return after completion!
If you want to confirm: make sure to Back Up internall attached SATA drives before!
Experiences here: all internal SATA got proned, internal PCIe-attached NvME are fine.
Waiting for comments.
