Hi folks,

as we know, Apple provides User Guides for its macOSes. I mean these ones (here a random site from within the guide) https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/mchl4652e4f1/11.0/mac/11.0, not the manuals for the devices.

As :apple: seems to remove the User Guides for older macOS versions, it would be great to have a downloadable version, i.e. as PDF. Alas, I couldn't find any, neither at Apple nor in the web. Am I too silly? In that case, a link would be great.

Thank you @Namara - I am still not sure whether I am silly.

What I can find are PDF-guides for Macs, i.e. Macbook, Mac Pro and so on. That is what you mention here:
Tip: You can download the Apple essentials guide for your Mac from Apple Books. On your Mac, open the Books app

, click Featured in the Book Store, then in the Quick Links section on the right, click Apple User Guides.

And indeed there are PDF-guides for older macOS that you linked here :

Also some of the older guides (https://support.apple.com/en_US/manuals/macos) can be downloaded and saved to the Files app as PDFs.

But I am still not able to find PDF-guides of supported macOS, also not in the Books app. The chapter with the guides looks, at least in Germany, like this:

The only reference to macOS is an implementation guide for administrators.

What do I overlook?

It appears the more recent macOS user guides are not available except via the web version.
