• Alarms may not play when display is asleep for a long period of time
  • Workaround: Make your display not fall asleep in Settings > Lock Screen > Turn display off on ____ when inactive. You can turn your brightness off.
• British keyboard icon in menu bar is wrong - shows as [A]
• Applescripts to check calendar event alerts don't work
• Applescripts accessing Contacts fail with a (false) permissions error
• Calendar events created with a location have a "time to leave" alert set even if that option is disabled in preferences

Remaining Issues

• Unable to play the next song, previous song, or pause using AirPods or keyboard.
  • Music will also not show in Control Center
  • Workaround: Reboot your Mac
• Mail App may be slow for some users

My system is working fine after the update, the update procedure itself was a bit odd, as I got a notification that the update failed before the system even rebooted.
It also said something about the preferences app preventing the system from rebooting, and, after closing settings, the system rebooted and installed the update.

The update isn't installing on my 14" MBP. It says restart to update for 13.0.1, then it downloads a 9.9mb ProRes file, then says restart, then it downloads a 9.9mb.... I tried manually restarting it but still stuck in the same loop.

There's a problem with pinch to zoom being extremely unreliable in Ventura. Been a problem since 13.0 and has not yet been fixed. Solution is to disable/enable zoom in System Settings. Driving a lot of designers (myself included) mad. There's a long thread about it here: https://forum.figma.com/t/pinch-to-zoom-unreliable/13184/81?page=5

This is just crazy. I have the same issue.

I've heard that some ancient civilisation had the knowledge of pinch to zoom but it got lost.
