  • QuickTime Player does not record the first couple of seconds when you use a Microphone (FB10086556)
  • British keyboard icon in menu bar is wrong - shows as [A]
  • Applescripts to check calendar event alerts don't work
  • Calendar events created with a location have a "time to leave" alert set even if that option is disabled in preferences
  • Alarms may not play when display is asleep for a long period of time (FB10086690)
    • Workaround: Make your display not fall asleep in Settings > Lock Screen > Turn display off on ____ when inactive. You can turn your brightness off.

  • (⚠️MAJOR ISSUE) Alias's on the desktop open terminal (FB11797211)
  • Safari Tab Bars have a chance of not showing content
  • Applescripts accessing Contacts fail with a (false) permissions error

It's a bit confusing, but "pending issues" means issues that have not been tested yet on this new beta. If it gets moved to "remaining issues" that's when you know it's not been fixed.
 
Does this fix an issue with safari where moving a tab causing it to bug up it happens on safari 16.1 on macOS 13
 
I’ll try changing my setting to show the animation and see if I’m getting that too, I don’t have apps set to minimize like that.
 
Has anybody checked if V-sync in OpenGL games especially Minecraft works correctly again? I hope the V-sync bug for MacOS Ventura 13.1 is fixed. Also is the bug of the preferences in update frequency in Activity Monitor in MacOS 13.1 fixed as well?

Very glad the fixed the shortcuts issue. I keep a shortcut to my Win11 VM on my 14” M1 Pro on my desktop with a similar looking icon as my macOS SSD icon and thought I was losing my mind when the terminal app kept opening (but it’d of course open fine Fron the VM control center in Paralells.

Hope it does it's horrible right now, if you turn on stage manger it's even worst for overall windows management over multiple monitor setups
 
Is the battery drain issue fixed. Ventura drained 100% more power (18 watts on idle) than Monterey (9 watts on idle)
That’s why I rolled back to Monterey.
16” M1 Pro in use.
