macOS X 11.5.2 Twists my Arm - iMac

Since upgrading to 11.5.2, my 2021 iMac has crashed repeatedly when I put it to sleep & when I connected USB devices. For now, I'll just shutdown instead of sleep. Are others having this problem?

I get the impression the implementation of USB {A, C} were not fully tested with Mac OS X in general.
