MacPorts KDE4 folder structure

I have installed most of the KDE 4 packages from MacPorts and now have the
/Applications/MacPorts/KDE4/ folder. All of the KDE 4 applications are
installed in this same folder without any subfolders. Is there any reason
why this isn't (or can't be) organized with a similar folder hierarchy as
what is found in a typical kde menu? Thanks in advance...
