Hi All,

I am using a Mac Book Pro with Snow-Leopard installed.

I try to get Macports running but having problems. I have installed Xcode and downloaded Macports version 2.0.3 from the Macports page. Installation of the dmg package seems like is fine, no error message is shown.

When I am trying top execute the command "ports" I get the following message in my command line window

/opt/local/bin/port: Unsupported scheme.

When I try to do "sudo port -v selfupdate" the following is showing up

Password:
/opt/local/bin/port: Unsupported scheme.
--2011-10-07 22:08:34-- http://selfupdate/
Resolving selfupdate... failed: nodename nor servname provided, or not known.
sh: unable to resolve host address `selfupdate'

Any ideas what is wrong on my configuration?

Thanks in advance for your help!
