MacPro 2008 vs rx580

Hi guys, I would like to know if on a mac pro of the 2008-3.1-8 core it is possible to install a RX 580 8gb and if the power cable is already present in the mac pro.

Can't run the RX 580 in a MP3,1 2008. The processors don't have the necessary SSE version to support the drivers on any recent AMD GPUs. You'll have to use an Nvidia GTX 6xx/7xx or upgrade to an MP4,1/5,1. Search a little bit in this forum for more details about the processor limitation.
