Hello,

The mac only had as upgrades, maxing out the memory to 32GB.
It ran fine for several years always on (it was a power hungry file server).
I recently powered it down, to just turning it on to get some old files from time to time.
Today, I powered it up, and it started acting funny.
First it went half way throught the white screen with the apple logo and the progress bar, and then the screen went black.
Then I powered it down on the button, and powered it back on again.
This time the fans were at full speed and nothing but a black screen.
I then powered it down through the button and disconnected it from the power outlet.
About 1H30 after I tried powering it again. This time it booted, but after login and a few dozens seconds, black screen again.

Is this a known problem ? What can be done ?

Thanks,
Regards
