Hi all, looking for some help on getting the Wifi to work on this MacPro 4,1 / Updated to 5,1.
The wifi doesn't turn on, nothing happens when you click on the button and displays the status OFF, while the bluetooth works fine so my guess is that it's powering the module ok.

Running Catalina 10.5.7 with opencore, Please see attached screenshot for specs and wifi info.
Followed the recommendations here and installed a wifi/bluetooth module - BCM943602CDP / BCM43xx 1.0
Wired up all the antennas correctly and connected the power cable to the old bluetooth module's power socket, followed a guide for all the steps.

What I've tried:
- Reset NVRAM or PRAM
- Remove the wifi and adding it back in the Network panel

Currently using a USB wifi dongle, but looking to identify if this is a hardware or software issue and if can be fixed.
Thanks in advance!

Catalina is not supported on mac pro 4.1/5.1.....expect problems.
People choose to hack their system and wonder why it doesn’t work..... 🤪
