Hi, I am having trouble with unstable display after installation of Win10. I have MP5,1 running Catalina with dosdude1 patcher no problems, with Sapphire RX580 running also no problems. I had a lot of grief getting Win 10 to install successfully on a separate SATA SSD, without and then with Bootcamp/Brigadier in case that was the issue, but all seems to have installed successfully.
The issue is that as soon as I enable the RX580, there are a whole load of display issues from multicolour dots to flicker/BSOD/GSOD and ultimately crash. If I disable the card then there is still a mild issue with flicker at times, but it is otherwise stable.
I have downloaded drivers from AMD but these just seem to make the problem worse. AMD Bootcamp drivers seem incompatible. I have tried booting with the GPU in different PCIe slots, changed cables etc etc but none of it seems to help. Removal of all MacOS drives makes no odds either. I feel that I have run out of ideas!
Given that my main reason for installing on separate SSD rather than VM is to run Steam, the lack of a functioning graphics card is a big frustration 😤
