I am looking for people who run the same configuration as I do...

On my MP I have three internal HD's - two for OSX, and a seperate one completely Windows XP, which means I run Windows natively without using BootCamp (besides the BC drivers).
However I'd like to run Windows virtually for small things by using Parallels.

I don't like having to install Windows a second time on my OSX HD - I have heard that you can run Parallels from an already existing Windows partition or in my case a seperate Windows HD.

I couldn't run my Test version of parallels on my machine, because it seems to need some special adjustment, which is beyond my knowledge.
When I start parallels it quotes: "More than one Windows partitions are found. This is not a standard Boot Camp configuration. Please refer to the Parallels Desktop for Mac User Guide, Using Boot Camp Windows XP Installation chapter for instructions on how to configure Parallels virtual machine in case of a non-standard Boot Camp configuration on your Macintosh computer."
I can't find any related help topics in the parallels guide like stated above.

Does anyone of you run a similar setup, or know a tutorial which explains that in particular?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe
