I recently did a combo installer of 10.4.10 on my MacPro Quad 2.66 (Feb 07)
and now i have the SMC Firmware update option in my software update, i have a few questions:
-if i install the SMC firmware update, will that be permanently applied to my macpro (so no matter what if i did an clean install or anything) the firmware will not be reset?
-Also i have the ATI X1900XT graphics card...i have yet to install the firmware for that, will it matter which one i install first (SMC or ATI)
as of now are there any occuring issues with them since its been quite a long time since they were released, as i do alot of graphic work on my system and havent had issues with it yet..just curious if i should even bother with them instead of just updated everything but firmware.
