I'm having some MacPro problems. Running a 4core MacPro, about 2.5 yrs old. Two screens, one apple cinema, one panasonic. both connected to the dual link DVI port.
HERE'S WHATS UP: (intermittent, but enough to be annoying)
The machine wakes itself up from sleep right after going to sleep. I have to put it to sleep three or four times before it finally stays asleep. (no peripherals are plugged in)
THEN, after it wakes (either by me or by itself) only the 2nd monitor wakes. The main screen is dead for at least 2 more minutes. But I can use the computer, it's working via the 2nd screen, but I cant get the main screen to power on.
Was running leopard, but I installed snow leopard thinking if it was software, that would fix it up, but it didnt help. It's still doing the same thing.
I need to double check, but I think I'm running an NVIDIA GeForce g-card.
And it only does it when the panasonic is also plugged in.
Think I need to replace to graphics card?
