Help,

I was playing games in Vista (Boot Camp) when I decided to reboot in to OSX to do some work. The machine did it usual stuff in the restart procedure, but then I noticed no chime, no video, and the video card fan running at high speed. Mean while the power led on the front just flashes continuously . I unplugged the power cord, held the power button down for 5 seconds to reset the pram, but all to no avail. There are no leds on, on the RAM boards, they flash when powered up, then go out, as they have always done. Could it be the video card? or something more serious. Machine is an early 2008 one, with a 4870 in it. Hope its not the card, as the previous 8800GT lasted only 14 months. Any ideas?
