Greets:

I have Win7/64 Pro at home in BC...everything runs well, fine.

However, with the built in Gig ports, I can only blast about 40MB/sec via iscsi, SMB2, Netapp SIO utility...anything, before -1- CPU of my 8, goes to 100% in "interrupt" time.

I have latest intel drivers.

I did pop in a dual port Pro/1000PT card, and...I can get to about 55MB/sec peaks before the same thing happens. The card is in the top slot above my big fat GPU, a 'helper' video card (the OEM one) is in the bottom slot so that OSX can boot properly.

What is the issue here, is there a 'better' Ethernet card I should get? Is there a different slot I should use this in BC mode to get the 1G that I expect from this?

I have seen a full GigE port in use on a Windows machine, but -mine- for all it's glory, cant do it...so..no jabs at Windows here, I work at Netapp, I know what most any configuration is capable of...if again, the HW is up to the job.

Is mine?
