I took bunch of images of a ruler to see the maximum magnification.

RESULTS:

Ultra wide lens (13mm):

Smallest scene width: 24mm

1.5x:1 magnification (Full frame equivalent)


Wide lens (26mm):

Smallest scene width: 150mm

1:4 magnification (Full frame equivalent)


Telephoto Lens (77mm):

Smallest scene width: 220mm

1:6 magnification (Full frame equivalent)


iPhone Xs Wide Lens (26mm):

Smallest scene width: 90mm

1:2.5 magnification (Full frame equivalent)


iPhone Xs Wide Lens with macro lens (Apexel):

Smallest scene width: 15mm

2.4x:1 magnification (Full frame equivalent)

Funny Stuff:
A fellow macrumors member pointed out to me that the automatic switch to the ultrawide lens does not happen if shooting video in 60fps. I was able to replicate the lack of switching on my iPhone 13PRO.

Most likely a bug.
