Yesterday the iPod Touch was mentioned at the keynote speech, it was NOT updated. Keyword NOT. So why is macrumors.com stating on its Buyer's Guide page that it has been updated when it was clearly NOT updated. No one at Apple has said it was updated. If someone said it, please link to a quote that shows an actual update to this product.

Adding a color isn't an update.

This is dishonest and wrong and is a disservice to your readers. It should be changed. A company with high morals doesn't flat out lie to it's readers.

Technically the white iPod does count as an update, even if it isn't much of one. I would assume the reason MacRumors labeled it as "updated" is because any future update to the iPod will not occur until this time next year. You may think MacRumors is deceiving their readers by listing the device as updated when it really wasn't updated much, but I'd argue they'd be doing their readers a bigger disservice by recommending they wait to upgrade, since they'd essentially be recommending you wait 12 more months before buying the device.
