This coupon can be used on all of the 24-inch iMac models listed below, including the entry-level 7-core GPU configuration and the two 8-core GPU configurations. You won't see the sale prices until you reach the checkout screen and enter macrumors125 in the discount code box.

With this exclusive discount, the entry-level 7-core GPU, 256GB 24-inch iMac is now at a new all-time low price of $1,174.99, down from $1,299.99. This beats the previous record low price by about $25 and the current going price for the iMac at retailers like Amazon and B&H Photo by about $55.

Similarly, the 8-core GPU, 512GB 24-inch iMac is now at an all-time low price with our exclusive coupon code. You can get this model for $1,574.99, down from $1,699.99. This is a version of the 24-inch iMac that we very rarely see discounts on, so if you want to invest in a high-end model of the M1 iMac now is the perfect time.

We've gathered every iMac that is compatible with the coupon code on Simply Mac in the lists below. Shoppers should note that this sale will last for two weeks, and that a few of the mid-tier 8-core GPU, 256GB iMacs are on backorder. You can still place an order today and use the coupon code to get the discount, and Simply Mac will ship the iMac once stock is available. If you have your eye on the mid-tier iMac, Amazon is offering a slightly better deal on the Silver model.

I would avoid the low-end iMac Magic Keyboard™ without Touch ID. It makes for a far worse user experience; that is a difference all users will immediately recognize. I got someone the low-end model without Touch ID; I regret the decision. The SimplyMac pages are flawed: knowing which models come with the high-end keyboard is very difficult to tell from their website. If you change configurations, the description does not change. I think only the 512GB models have Touch ID.

I wish that Apple would have only ONE desktop keyboard model. It would avoid lots of headaches -- and probably some returns.

This would be an amazing device for $999. It's the almost Apple Studio Display with a free computer! Must avoid temptation but wouldn't mind one with 16GB RAM

Not a terrible price, I have been thinking about getting one for kind of a digital hub kind of device. Being able to use the Mac as an AirPlay device makes the all in one more desirable to me.

As a former SM employee I'm surprised to see higher models with specs usually needing CTO config (16GB RAM) going on sale. Not too bad, if Costco isn't an option for you.

All this says to me is there an update coming in the next few months so they're clearing the channel of this model. I think my new plan is to get the next update of the 24" iMac and then upgrade when the "bigger" iMac comes whenever that is.

High end? Is it 2007 still? Because that's the last time a 512GB drive was high end. Back up your iPhone and iPad, have some pics and music. Oops, out of space!

This looks like the time to move my 90+ year old mother in law from her ancient iMac to an M1. With the “new fangled“ magic keyboard and touch ID.

I agree that 512GB is not high-end by any means, but I have 20+ years worth of family docs, photos, videos, and music that sum up to a bit over 300GB, so 512GB is not bad for a single user/small family.

Also, external drives (and connectivity) are so fast nowadays that adding external storage is not only cheap, feasible, and easy but portable.

In the event of emergency just grab the drive(s) and go.
