Macrumors Group Memberships

I was looking in some User profiles, and idk why but the Group Memberships section caught my eye. they pretty much all say, "*member* is not apart of any public groups." Is this actually used for if anything?

It's a feature of the vBulletin software that we don't use. We haven't created any joinable user groups as some sites do.
