This crossed my mind today while I was sitting at my desk doing my best to stay focused. I lasted only a short time before I just had to get back onto MacRumors to see what was going on in the world. In my defense, since the Apple keynote is tomorrow, I am eager to stay up-to-date with all the news surrounding the event.

Now, to get to my question: how many users on MacRumors view the site or look at different articles when they probably should be doing work instead? I for one know I am guilty of it, and have a bad habit of doing it quite frequently when I should be working. I'm curious to know how many other users are the same as I am in this matter. Are there others of you out there who should be doing work or school, but instead are on MacRumors?

Let me know if there are, or if I am the only one who is so easily distracted. :)

Not much tbh. Maybe whilst I’m making a cup of tea or at lunch of course.
Generally I have (and do) many more hours of work than I’m paid for each week.

That said the keynotes are after work for me so I can watch without skiving off.

Pretty much here from around 6am to about 9pm or so. But when at work I'm usually here really only when taking a short break. A computer is necessary for my job, so between work and home I'm on a computer pretty much from the time I get up to the time I go to bed. That makes accessing MR a simple matter of CMD+TAB.

There have been days when the workload has prevented any visits though.

But yeah, since August 2011.

I browse and post here on my lunch break, and from home on weekends. I do not use the forums when I'm supposed to be working. I do "cheat" and check my personal e-mail on company time, but I reply later if I need to.
