Everyone, I'm stuck in a predicament. I'm at a conference and need an answer to this ASAP.
I have a 2008 MacBook running Snow Leopard and I'm trying to run a presentation on two external TVs. Both TVs are the same make and model. I have an Apple mini-dvi to VGA adapter running to a monoprice VGA splitter (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10104&cs_id=1010404&p_id=2679) that runs to two separate VGA cables (one 40ft, the other 6ft), then to the TVs.
The problem is, the splitter only shows on TV A, not on B. If I switch the cables around, it shows on B, not A. If I unplug one, it will show on the other, no matter what. So it's not the cables, and both the splitter's outs work, just not at the same time.
Is there a setting I'm missing? Is it a faulty splitter (the reviews seemed favorable)?
I had to use just one TV in our booth today, and needless to say, the bosses didn't like it...
Any help is greatly appreciated.
