I've been a troller at macrumors since the olden goldens, regardless of the age of this username, so i found it interesting to remind myself what macrumors was like before the iPod (almost), iPhone or 9/11 for that matter....
Google has relaunched their index from 2001
"Once of Google's 10th birthday gifts to the world is its re-release of a 2001 version of the search index. (The FAQ says there are "various technical reasons" for not displaying results back to Google birth year of 1998.) On it you can see what the service knew about any topic back then. Like you. Go ahead."
Interestingly enough, I get a good solid couple hundred results on myself if i search today, and I get exactly zero valid results for myself as of 2001.... ahh what a difference your 20's makes!
