Ok, so for companies with large Windows based infrastructures and Windows based clients (the desktops) system administrators can control the network via SMS (a bit old skool now, but works none the less) or now with Active Directory and so on, they can push out software install/updates by person/domain/business unit, quickly and easily using either of the aforementioned.
My question is how is a OS9 and/or OSX infrastructure with Mac clients managed?
Does OS X Server have a way to push out software updates to all it’s Mac clients and so on like Windows does?
I’m just interested to know how feasible at this moment in time a Mac based environment would be to big business.
