Mac's and Windows Active Directory

Good morning,

Are there any guides or resources on how to properly connect Mac computers to Microsoft Active Directory? I would like to know what is possible (and what are the limitation) as far as the Mac integration into the AD from the software deployment/asset tracking (SCCM), policies - password/certificates etc (GPOs) file and print sharing, login scripts etc. Basically, I am wondering how deeply can a mac computer integrate to Active Directory, what are the biggest challenges managing Macs vs windows pc etc.

I appreciate any info and resources.

The Mac Enterprise mailing list has good archives and there is a very useful mailing list. There's not a lot of enterprise level Mac discussion in this forum.
