Hello there,
untill recently I was using a cable router given to me by my ISP, castlnet or something!
in my LAN i have a macmini and 2 macbook pro, both mbp are sometimes being used under windows for gaming puroposes and occasionally a DELL running vista!
A few days ago I switched to a "Netgear Wireless Cable Voice Gateway CBVG834G" and the result is this!
when all 3 macs are turned on an running under os x in each respective mac the other 2 don't appear anymore in the sidebar in finder!
which is a bit anoying as the macmini serves as a "server" with folder sharing and screen sharing turned on, plus printer sharing!
when the two mbp are under windows "win7" and the DELL is on, I don't see the macmini shared folders anymore either, they dont appear in the network at all!
All are in the same homegroup, the windows installs don't run a firewall and the os x install i have changed no settings at all!
any help is apreciated
The change of the router was due to me moving!
thx in advance
