An adware sniffer for the Mac OS...

http://macscan.securemac.com

Seems to work well. It could use a better icon, though. If anyone can find one, PM me. :)

Also, does anyone know how to purge internet temp files (besides the cache) stored in OS X? Or do OS X's browsers work differently than Windows browsers in that respect?

Has anyone acually found anything using this?

I swear, I thought I got some weird backdoor or some thing, I scaned, got nothing, I deleted it...

I guess you never need it untill you 'need it'

Yeah, I did a full disk scan last night and got up to about 170k+ files at which point I force-quit it since there's no way to stop the scan.

No results.

Either its a piece of junk or ad/spy-ware just doesn't work with OS X.

I know I clean out my Dell every couple days with SpyBot and Ad-aware and I always find at least 2-3 things to purge.
