I am doing a financial spreadsheet for a non-profit and it crashes to the desktop two or three times an hour. It says it is "out of memory" but isn't, running activity monitor. It sends a report to Microsoft and restarts, reloads a recovered file that does not contain all of your changes to date. You get to try to remember what is not there and on large spreadsheets that is a real challenge. :(

Quite disappointed in it and in not being able to find anything on the Macsoft site that helps.

So, beware if you plan on using this for anything serious or important.

Hmmm you're getting that error, and Excel isn't chomping through a macro eh? Then I would first look around on the file to see if there are a lot of references to other workbooks (usually I search for the square bracket "[" to find them). How big is the entire workbook BTW, do you use named ranges in there?
