I imagine that they a) would also park them on their own servers and b) the address would follow some subset of the existing apple.com domain.

Some enterprising person is probably doing an ad-funded park at that domain. Has zero to do with apple.

Yeah, going back I typed in "imacs.com" That changes nothing of my opinion regarding whether this is relevant.
