I have a 2008 MacBook running 10.6.8 and I've been running MacTeX without any problems for about a month now.
Recently I installed a new hard drive and transferred everything over using my time machine backup. After I did this however something got screwed up with my MacTeX installation, for example if I try compiling a LaTeX document using pdflatex it tells me it can't find it in any of the usual locations (/usr/bin/, /usr/sbin/, etc) and similarly if I run "which pdflatex" from the terminal I can't find it.
I have gone through and completely removed everything that the MacTeX documentation says it installs and tried completely re-installing everything but it didn't change anything. Any thoughts on what I can do?
