Im ripping some dvd's to itunes now to view on my iPod and obviously everything that my itunes syncs with. I noticed that when I convert the movie to iPod format through handbreak, it always appears dark. Is there anyway to get around this? Also, I know there is an apple tv setting on handbreak, should i just rip in that format? If i do will it still play on my iPod?

Im pretty sure there is a brightness setting in handbrake, if you can't find it try going on the handbrake forums. As for ripping setting if you rip it at 640 x 480, that should be fine on the apple tv

Thanks, I'll check out the handbreak settings now.
